The Leesburg Dentists takes pride in our experienced, skilled and caring staff. We have always strived to create a pleasant environment for our staff, as well as our patients. Many of our staff have been with us more than 25 years. All have worked hard to stay current so that we can provide the most up to date dental treatments for our patients. We see patients from 3 years of age to 103 years of age. The Leesburg Dentists actually have some families where we have 4 generations as active patients. We welcome you to join our patient family.

Doctors
Dr. Bob was born and raised in Leesburg, Virginia. He is a true native. After graduating Loudoun County High School, he attended The University of Virginia, where he graduated With Distinction with a degree in Biology. Upon graduating he attended the Dental School at the Medical College Campus of Virginia Commonwealth University where he also graduated with honors. Dr. Bob and his wife Dr. Joy Spencer-Fuller opened their Leesburg dental practice in 1986 immediately after graduation. Dr. Bob has long believed that our bodies are one and all our “health's-physical, oral, mental and spiritual” are interconnected.
Dr. Bob is a father of three grown kids and currently spends his time with their English Cream Retriever, Husker, and their French Bulldog, Pearl. He is a sport fan and spent many years coaching and officiating Girl’s High School Lacrosse. Through thick and thin he remains a Washington Sports fan. He enjoys going to the gym, practicing yoga, biking and hiking.

Dr. Lee is a native of Northern Virginia, having grown up in McLean. He graduated with honors from Virginia Tech before receiving his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the Medical Campus of Virginia Commonwealth University in 1998. Lee spent four years in the Air Force furthering his training in disciplines including advanced oral surgery and sedation dentistry. Lee remains active with the Loudoun chapter of the Seattle Dental Study Cub.
During his non-working hours, Lee enjoys spending time with his wife and two children. They enjoy traveling and having the opportunity to visit their parents. Lee embraces and enjoys technology and is the office go to when there are computer issues. Oh, he most definitely bleeds burgundy and orange. Go Hokies.

Dr. Ashley grew up in West Virginia where she graduated from West Virginia University with a B.S in Biology and a minor in Ballet! After graduation, Dr. Ashley continued her education at WVU School of Dentistry receiving her Doctor of Dental Surgery. Ashley is Invisalign Certified and a member of the American Academy of Facial Esthetics. Dr. Ashley has a passion for the esthetic aspect of dentistry.
Interestingly, Dr. Ashley married into a dental family with her father-in-law and brother-in-law both being dentists. She and her husband stay busy with their 3 kids and golden doodle.

Dr. Karoline is a familiar face to the practice. She is a lifelong patient, and told us as a 3 year old that she wanted to be a dentist or orthodontist. Karoline spent many of her college summers learning the trade while shadowing her mentor, Dr. Bob.
Dr. Karoline received her undergraduate degree from Virginia Tech in 2014, graduating Magna Cum Laude with a B.S, in Biology. Upon graduation, she attended Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry graduating Summa Cum Laude in 2018. She was elected by the faculty at VCU into the National Honor Society: Omicron Kappa Upsilon for her scholastic achievement. Following dental school, Dr. Karoline proceeded to the University of Texas, where she received a 2 year intensive training and certification in Advanced General Dentistry.
Dr. Karoline brings a multitude of advanced and diversified skills to the practice including I.V. conscious sedation, implant dentistry, wisdom teeth extractions, bone and tissue grafting, and full mouth rehabilitation among many other skills.
Currently she resides in Ashburn, VA with her dog, Zeke and her cat, Hunny Bun. In addition to spending time with her family, she enjoys cooking, working out, and training in Jiujitsu.

He graduated from the University of Virginia with a bachelor’s degree in biology and went on to attend Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry where he obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. Upon graduating from dental school, he spent his residency at the Fayetteville Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Fayetteville, North Carolina, earning a certificate in Advanced General Dentistry.
Dr. Han provides a wide array of dental procedures, including dental implants, bone grafts, full mouth rehabilitation, and much more.
During his free time, Dr. Han likes to play soccer and cheer on his favorite team, Arsenal Football Club. He also enjoys hiking and hopes to visit all the national parks one day.

Dental Assistants
Suzanne grew up in Fairfax, VA, and was a patient of this office since she was a teenager. Basically, she has been with us since 1987! Suzanne attended Fairfax County Adult Education Center where she received her Dental Assistant Certification.
After receiving her certification, Suzanne worked for an orthodontist for a year before joining our office. She has 23 years experience, with 22 of them being with our team.
Currently Suzanne lives in Shenandoah County. We appreciate her dedication and long drive. Previously she raised her two sons in Warren County. She takes advantage of the Valley, as she enjoys drives in her Jeep with the top off along Skyline Drive. When not in the mountains, Suzanne enjoys the beaches of Southern North Carolina.

Maria has been a dental assistant for 23 years. She loves what she does and considers Dentistry a place to grow and learn something everyday. She often tells us she would do it for free, if she could. Maria has been Dr. Bob’s assistant for 7 years, and together they make an incredible team.

April has been with our office since 2008 and is Dr. Lee’s assistant. It was in 2005 she took a chance and started her journey in the dental field. April attended Shenandoah University where she completed her dental assisting and radiology certifications. It is working with people that April finds most rewarding about dentistry. Helping reduce patient’s anxiety and being supportive are two skills that April feels she does best.
She enjoys trying to make all patients have a positive experience.
It is not surprising that April is the cornerstone of her family and enjoys spending her free time with her two children and her two grandsons. While not with family or at work, April enjoys vintage and antique shopping.

Lina has over 20 years of experience in the dental field. Her goal is to provide quality care while creating a more comfortable environment for all patients as well as beautiful smiles.
Lina was born in Sudan, Africa and grew up in Saudi Arabia and Egypt. She has a background in interior design, cosmetology and is fluent in 3 languages. In her spare time Lina enjoys visual and graphic art, learning different languages, watching movies, and traveling especially to the beach with her daughter.

Hygienists
Karin was the very first hygienist hired by the Dr. Fullers. She has been with the practice for over thirty years, helping it grow and computerize. Karin received her B.S in Dental Hygiene from West Virginia University School of Dentistry in Morgantown, WV.
Born in Charlotte, NC and raised in Mahwah, NJ, Karin has devoted her decades of dental hygiene experience to building strong relationships with her patients, while also providing the latest quality of dental hygiene care and services. She takes pride in having helped establish this dental practice into one of the region’s most family friendly, patient oriented and one that is dedicated to pursuing and deploying the latest technologies and techniques in the dental field.

Gina joined The Leesburg Dentists in 2019 with just over a decade of experience. . She graduated from Coastal Carolina Community College Dental Hygiene program in 2011.
Patients will notice a different accent from Gina, as she originally is from Lithuania. She now resides in Purcellville with her husband, daughter, and two Labrador Retrievers. Gina enjoys her profession, but when she’s not at work, you’ll find her at the beach.

Judy graduated with honors from The University of Tennessee with a B.S. degree in Dental Hygiene. She joined our staff in 2016 with many years of experience, Judy loves working together with a team to help create a comfortable and caring dental experience for each patient.
Judy has lived in Leesburg for 25 years with her husband, has one daughter and two amazing granddaughters. In addition to family, she loves to travel.

Becky grew up in Syracuse, NY, and it was there that she earned an A.S. degree in Dental Hygiene from Onondaga Community College in 1984. She comes to our office with a lot of experience and joined our team in 2016.
Becky and her husband became residents of Leesburg in 1994, and enjoyed raising their three children here. In her spare time Becky enjoys spending time with family, gardening and staying active.

April earned her degree at Virginia Western Community College/Lord Fairfax Community College joint venture Dental Hygiene Program and graduated in 2014 summa cum Laude. She was also presented the Hu-Friedy Golden Scaler Award for clinical excellence and compassionate service. Since joining our team in 2021, April has enjoyed helping her patients maintain and improve their oral health by providing quality dental hygiene care and services.
Outside of work April enjoys family time with her husband and two adult daughters, vacationing at the beach and leading an active lifestyle.

Britney is passionate about her field, entering her 23rd year of dental hygiene. She especially loves developing relationships with her patients, helping them to maintain dental and overall wellness.
Stacy has been with The Leesburg Dentists since the fall of 2016 and is a graduate of the dental hygiene program at Allegany College of Maryland.
She lives in Harpers Ferry, WV with her husband, identical twin girls and two cats. When not chasing her kids or driving them places, Stacy enjoys cooking and baking, working out, movies and crafting.

Heidi joined our hygiene staff in 2019. Before transitioning to the dental field in 2014, she worked as a preschool teacher.
Heidi has a BA in psychology and sociology, a MA in School Counseling in addition to her dental hygiene degree. She took quite the winding road to the field of dentistry.
Heidi enjoys playing with her sweet and sassy 3 year old daughter. She keeps her busy with reading, baking and discovering. Heidi is active in her church and does enjoy exploring local breweries.

Betty was born in Richmond, VA and lived most of her entire life in Leesburg. She started her medical knowledge as a pharmacy technician at Loudoun Memorial Hospital. Betty was the first employee at Fuller & Spencer-Fuller, PC which is now The Leesburg Dentists. She has been with us since 1987.
You will find Betty at the front desk, where she is knowledgeable in almost every aspect of the office from scheduling, to billing, to insurance. With her 34 years of experience, she has seen us transition from paper to digital, which has not always been easy.
In her spare time Betty likes to play golf, bowl, and tend to her flower garden. She does enjoy traveling with her husband and friends. She says, “Friends and family are important to me, and being with my second family at the office is great.”

Cherie joined The Leesburg Dentists in 2017. Originally from Kansas City, MO, Cherie started in the dental field at the age of 12, working with her dad in his dental office. From dental assistant to dental manager, she has a broad range of experience in all aspects of family dentistry, and holds a B.S. degree in Business Administration.
Cherie is married to her high school sweetheart, Joe. They have two daughters, a son-in-law, and two grand-kitties. They settled in Leesburg a few years ago after 22 years overseas with the federal government.

Patty is a native of Loudoun County, as she was born and raised in Lincoln, VA. In turn she and her husband Jerry raised their 2 sons there as well. Now that she is an empty nester, Patty enjoys going to antique stores and auctions looking for “flipper” projects. However, her biggest love is her family, friends and especially her new grandson.
Christine has over 30 years of experience in the dental field. She excels in working with patients to maximize their insurance benefits. Her smile and bubbly personality have been a wonderful addition to our team.
